![]() ![]() However it has 24% ZO and I have had great luck w Supergoop products so I am considering it in the hopes that it will be less drying than the others I have tried.īare Minerals Mineral Veil- cosmetically very elegant but I do not recommend this product bc it contains only Titanium Dioxide and thus does not provide full UVA protection.Īlso considering Color Science to get some cosmetic improvement but really don’t want to pay that much.īack in the day Bare Minerals made a refillable brush that carried powder in it but They don’t anymore. Supergoop! invincible Setting Powder, SPF 45, $30- I did not buy this bc the packaging was such a disaster in store there was no way I putting in my purse daily. Cosmetically this is better than the Mineral Fusion but still not ideal. I guess the refills and washable brush were more important to me at the time but I haven’t actually washed the brush so I guess I’m more content being gross than I realized. This has only 12% ZO while the previous 2 products had 20% so I’m not sure I will repurchase. ![]() Also it felt wasteful to toss the whole tube every time you were done and you couldn’t wash the brush so I switched products again.īrush on Block, translucent, SPF 30, ~$30 for initial purchase $17 for the refill cartridge- I bought this bc you can buy refills for it and detach the brush to wash it. As I aged I found this product emphasized fine lines and pores on my dry skin, an oily person my have better luck. Brush is better than PTR and I couldn’t really tell a difference in the powder so I repurchased this a few times. Mineral Fusion Brush on Sun Defense SPF 30, $15-20- switched to this bc of price, SPF is different but they have basically the same amount of Zinc oxide and Titanium Dioxide. The brushes shed like crazy esp for the price point and the container came unscrewed a couple times in my purse and went everywhere so I did not repurchase. Peter Thomas Roth SPF 45, $30- product is fine, the one w salicylic acid was too exfoliating for me but my skin reaction strongly to salicylic so YMMV. I have really dry skin and had some cosmetic issues w the powders but if you are younger or oilier than me you might be able to use the most affordable products just fine. However, I figure a “SPF booster” is better than nothing, you can def tell Its on your skin so its gotta be giving some protection. I have used a few brands, but with all of them the amount you need to apply to get the SPF on the tube is Waaayyy more than is even possible to apply.
